Kverneland Optima V
The Kverneland Optima V range is a versatile pneumatic precision drilling solution designed for crops such as maize, sunflower, beet, beans, soya, and peas. Built for farmers and contractors needing flexible row spacing, it is available in 6 row, 6+1 row, and 8 row configurations, with hydraulically variable row widths adjustable in 5 cm increments for quick adaptation to changing crop requirements. A 1,000 L fertiliser hopper and lightweight frame provide an excellent balance of capacity, traction, and field efficiency.
The Optima V can be equipped with either HD-II e-drive II row units or the high-speed SX sowing units. HD-II units deliver accurate seed placement and reliable depth control across light to heavy soils in both conventional and mulch systems, while SX units are engineered for precise singulation and seed placement at speeds of up to 18 km/h, increasing output without compromising accuracy. Each unit follows ground contours closely to ensure even emergence and consistent crop development.
ISOBUS compatibility enables seamless integration with Kverneland terminals, while GPS-based GEOCONTROL automatically switches rows on and off to prevent overlaps and misses. With GEOSEED technology, seed placement is synchronised across the full working width, supporting uniform plant growth and improved yield potential.
