The FARMotion engine was developed specifically for agricultural applications, delivering strong performance, low fuel consumption, and reduced noise and vibration. Available in three and four-cylinder configurations, it features Common Rail fuel injection with pressures up to 2000 bar, a turbocharger, intercooler, and electronic engine management for excellent torque and responsiveness.

Emissions compliance is achieved using Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), eliminating the need for AdBlue or a diesel particulate filter. A strengthened engine block, forged steel crankshaft, and thicker cylinder liners improve durability, while simplified maintenance and long-term reliability help reduce operating costs.

A wide range of gear speeds from the 4 range 5 gear 3 speed power transmission. This configurations provides up to 60 forward and reverse speeds to suit any application. Powershift allows clutch-free speed changes under load, while adjustable shuttle modulation improves comfort and productivity, particularly during loader work. Stop&Go functionality enables clutch-free stopping and starting for easier operation.

The 5G Series features four PTO speeds as standard: 540, 540 ECO, 1000, and 1000 ECO, with electrohydraulic engagement for smooth operation. Optional front PTO and Auto PTO functionality further improve versatility, efficiency, and ease of use.

The 4-post cab delivers excellent visibility, comfort, and a highly functional operating environment. A spacious interior, ergonomic layout, and passenger seat ensure comfort throughout long working days, while logically arranged controls improve ease of operation.

Deutz-Fahr’s colour-coded control system makes functions easy to identify, with consistent layouts across the range for faster operator familiarisation. Up to eight work lights provide excellent illumination for night operations, while standard rear LED warning lights improve on-road visibility. A backlit instrument panel and side console ensure all controls remain clearly visible in low-light conditions.

The 5G Series features an efficient hydraulic system with a 90 l/min eco pump and up to four rear auxiliary valves, including an electronically controlled option.

The innovative SDD steering system reduces steering wheel turns to just 2.2 lock-to-lock at low speeds, improving manoeuvrability during loader work and tight headland turns.

Electronic Hitch Response (EHR) control provides precise linkage management with draft and position control, float function, ride control, lift height limiting, and adjustable lowering speed. Rear lift capacity reaches up to 5,410 kg on the 5125 G, while front lift capacity is up to 1,850 kg.
