Deutz-Fahr tractors are known for strong economy and efficient performance. The Agrofarm range uses water-cooled 4-cylinder, 4.0 L turbocharged diesel engines with outputs from 100 to 115 HP. The G 100 meets Tier I standards, while the G 115 meets Tier II and adds intercooling for higher performance.

These compact engines deliver smooth power, low fuel consumption, and strong torque from low RPM, with maximum torque available at 1600 RPM. High-pressure Bosch individual injection systems up to 1400 bar ensure efficient fuel use, reliability, and low emissions.

A 150 L fuel tank supports long working days with fewer refuelling stops.

For the New Zealand market, the Deutz-Fahr Agrofarm 100 G GS and 115 G GS ROPS models use a Powershift and Powershuttle transmission. The 40×40 gearbox offers 40 km/h road speed, with four mechanical ranges including creep, five gears, and a two-stage Powershift for versatile speed selection.

A hydraulic Powershuttle allows clutch-free forward and reverse changes, ideal for loader work and manoeuvring. The comfort clutch button on the gear lever enables shifting without using the clutch pedal.

These models also offer 540, 540 ECO, 1000, and 1000 ECO PTO speeds with electrohydraulic engagement, smooth load sensing start-up, and LCD speed display.

All Deutz-Fahr tractors use a colour-coded control system for simple operation across the range. Blue identifies hydraulic spool valves, green the rear linkage, and yellow PTO functions, helping operators move easily between models.

The Agrofarm ROPS is designed for visibility and practicality, especially for front loader work. A slim side-mounted exhaust and moulded roof improve forward and upward visibility, while a standard sunroof is fitted on 100 and 115 models. A PVC baffle system directs noise, dust, and mud away from the platform.

Key controls are positioned beside the operator, with a comfortable sprung PVC seat and adjustable steering column.

Modern vineyard and orchard implements demand higher hydraulic power and more complex control systems. DEUTZ-FAHR has fully redesigned the hydraulic system of the 5DV, DS, and DF TTV to meet these needs.

Up to five rear electro-hydraulic double-acting valves with flow and timer control can be fitted, along with four front double-acting valves with flow control. Additional duplicated rear valve functions are also available.

The electronically controlled rear linkage lifts 2600 kg on 5DV and DS models, and 3800 kg on the 5DF. An optional front linkage lifts 1500 kg.

All configurations use a 100 l/min load sensing pump, supported by a separate 42 l/min steering pump.
