Kverneland iXter A

The iXter A sprayer features a fully integrated design, with the control panel, chemical inductor, hand wash tank, and clean cloth locker all positioned on one side for easy access and maximum convenience.

Its compact layout keeps the centre of gravity close to the tractor, improving weight transfer while allowing space for PTO, hydraulic, and electrical connections.

The intuitive control panel separates suction and pressure functions for simple operation. A 30 L graduated chemical inductor is pivot-mounted within the frame and includes a rotating canister rinse nozzle.

The sprayer can be cleaned in the field using the clean water tank, with optional external washing equipment available.

A rotating level indicator shows the current tank volume for quick and easy monitoring.

iXclean Basic includes ENFO priming and rinsing as standard on all Kverneland spray computers. Before spraying, lines are automatically filled with product up to the nozzle. After spraying or interruptions, crop protection products are flushed from the lines using minimal clean water. This improves accuracy, reduces waste, and saves water.

iXclean Plus adds an electric pump connected to the clean water tank, suction side, and tank nozzles. It can be activated from the tractor cab in the field when spraying is complete or during operation to dilute remaining liquid in the main tank.

The HC 18, 20, and 21 m vertical folding steel booms are designed for strength, reliability, and high-speed spraying in difficult conditions. Their triangular construction and Domex steel design provide increased strength with lower overall machine weight.

The HOSA 12 and 15 m aluminium boom features a unique Z-folding system, allowing quick width reduction to pass field obstacles. Its welded-free aluminium profile offers excellent durability, while the anodised hardened surface resists scratches and corrosion.

ErgoDrive headland management is available with both boom types. Activated by a simple on or off switch, it automates headland functions so the operator can focus on safe driving.

The Kverneland sprayer range is 100% ISOBUS compatible as standard, which means easy plug and play with the Tellus 700 or Tellus 1200 or any other AEF certified terminal. The innovative iXspray hardware and software with intuitive touch interface guarantees an user friendly operation of the sprayer. iXspray is full of nice features to make the operators life easy, save time and avoid mistakes in a busy working season, for example pre-sets for spray jobs and boom configuration can be configured easily.

Parking frame
A parking frame is available for easy hitching and storage of the sprayer.

Filling
The optional 2 inch hydrant filling device allows filling under pressure at high capacity. A GEKA adapter for 1 inch filling is optional available. For external filling a 1.5 inch suction hose is optional available. If 2 inch filling is required a camlock adapter can be ordered.

The Kverneland chemical inductor is designed to integrate a Closed Transfer System (CTS) directly at the filling station. CTS provides a safe, precise, and environmentally friendly way to transfer crop protection products into the sprayer, reducing spills, operator exposure, and contamination risks.

The system allows accurate filling at the correct concentration while also rinsing containers and equipment. Containers are emptied completely, leaving clean cans ready for recycling.

With CTS, containers connect directly to the unit, removing the need for manual pouring into an open hopper. Remaining product can still be measured accurately, while powders and granules can be added through the induction bowl.

Only spray where it is needed with the SpotSpray application in iXspray software on the Tellus 700 or Tellus 1200 terminal, used with a Kverneland sprayer. This improves environmental protection by reducing unnecessary chemical use.

SpotSpray uses predefined prescription maps with zero-rate zones, automatically switching sections on and off to treat only selected areas. It is ideal for weed patches, thistles, wet spots, poor germination zones, or soil problem areas.

The system also helps calculate exactly how much spray liquid is required, increasing efficiency and tank capacity. With low setup cost and strong savings in time and product use, SpotSpray offers excellent return on investment.

The DAT camera system on Kverneland sprayers is a precision tool that helps farmers and contractors reduce spray liquid through targeted patch spraying. DAT Ecopatch identifies weeds in wheat, cereals, and oilseed rape, then activates the correct nozzles automatically at speeds up to 10 km/h.

Built around the principle that weeds often grow in patches, the system offers a practical and cost-effective solution. Operation is simple through the Tellus 700, Tellus 1200, or other AEF-certified terminals.

As-applied data and weed heat maps are instantly available for analysis. Spray savings of up to 58% have been achieved, while reducing crop damage and increasing spraying capacity.
