ELDOS is electrically driven by e-bas and e-com, with e-com fully ISOBUS compatible, while e-bas operates as a standalone system. GEOCONTROL via GPS prevents double seeding, and sensors ensure reliable operation from the cab. Five rotors are available for fine seeds, large seeds, or fertiliser, with quick, tool-free changes. Application rates from 1 to 400 kg/ha are possible depending on speed and width, and the metering device is easily accessible.

Calibration is simple thanks to separate seed guidance. A remote control allows operation at the metering unit, with no gear adjustments required. Values are entered in the terminal, calibration runs automatically, and a flap prevents seed loss.

1. Level the soil: An 800 mm front tyre packer levels the surface, crushes clods, and ensures accurate depth control. It can be hydraulically lifted when not required

2. Prepare the seedbed: Conical discs provide full-width cultivation, while MD waved discs enable strip tillage. Both ensure consistent cutting and strong performance in varying conditions

3. Reconsolidate: A 900 mm tyre packer firms the soil, improving seed-to-soil contact and reducing power requirements

4. Drill and pack: Narrow coulters ensure precise placement with consistent depth, controlled from the cab for efficiency

5. Close and finish: Adjustable harrows cover the seed evenly, ensuring optimal conditions for germination

The u-drill plus is designed for precise fertiliser placement during sowing, with application rates up to 400 kg/ha depending on speed and width. A pressurised hopper on the 6.0 m version ensures consistent performance in demanding conditions. Fertiliser can be applied either in the seed row or between rows, depending on agronomic needs.

Placement between rows is achieved through outlets in the disc harrow, ensuring equal nutrient access. Depth is controlled via disc working depth.

In-row application uses the double-entry CD coulter, placing fertiliser with the seed for efficient early growth. The system also allows two crops to be sown simultaneously in one pass.

The u-drill features a fully automated headland management system, simplifying operation and saving time. With a single button, the driver activates a sequence where wheels, discs, and the coulter bar operate automatically in timed stages. The lifting sequence begins with the disc section, maintaining consistent depth control up to the headland.

As the sequence starts, the metering system stops automatically to prevent double seeding, and seed hoses empty, saving up to 5% of seed.

This allows the driver to focus on steering while improving accuracy. The result is faster, more precise drilling with reduced overlap, requiring only one double-acting spool for operation.
